Last week I lost my job.
I'm not too upset about it though, I was planning on quitting in the fall to go a major travel again. Now I'll just start three months sooner.
Also last week (the day before the loss) I bought an expedition touring bike. The plan: to cycle around the world, camping whenever possible, living as low cost as I can.
So yeah. In a week I'm going to head out and tour around Saskatchewan. It'll be a nice warmup exercise - flat roads, little traffic, sparsely populated. If that goes well, then I'll head west and spend two months cycling B.C. and the mountains.
And then? I'm thinking Japan, New Zealand and a few other places...
